Maybe not the photographic “success” *snicker* of (Bananas), but I think cropping them down to just the hole and the fruit makes them more readable and still-lifey. Also I like the colors (which may be doing most of the work here anyway; in B&W these might not have been decipherable at all).
As far as focal length/focusing, I’ve blacked out an old scratched-up UV filter; if the wind we’re having ever lets up, I’ll see how this works with an actual lens attached.
12:25 pm Edited to clarify: These two were taken with the body-cap-with-a-hole-in-it; the blacked-out-filter-that-will-fit-on-a-lens hasn’t been tried yet.
