Sometimes you just shoot for the exercise, so to speak; keeping your photographer muscles warm, even when there isn’t much to see and/or you’re out of ideas. Luckily, my order of Acros had just arrived…
And so the quiet light of an unseasonably cool, overcast summer morning drew me outdoors without much purpose, along with my sweet little Spotmatic (of which I have grown very fond). This was also my inauguration of the wide angle lens that came with the camera.
The lovely light, the gentleness of this film, and a slight breeze all worked together to soften everything up.

P.S The third image down could do with some cropping, buuuut…Either my new lens has some unpleasant scratches on it, or the guy at the lab needs to trim his hangnails before handling film. Unfortunately, it’s probably the former, as evidenced by that shot and several others.
