The Cat with the mouse bought back many a memory of our old cat (eventually 19 1/2 year old) and her mouse “gifts”… she also “contributed” rabbits but usually ate half first …which was rather grisly even to farm hardened kids.
The tabletop and chairs solution is inspired!
The table is genius, isn’t it? It welcomes guests to sit down, but the pointy corners encourage them not to stay too long!
And cats! One of ours left a little rat-gift in the garage — one big bite taken out of the back of its head! Maybe the cat had an impulse to share, and left most of it for us to…”enjoy”…
