These are great. I particularly like the first, the combination of the curiosity of a (presumably wild) bird so close to a person, the way they seem to be totally oblivious to each other, and yet connected by the echoes between the shapes of the hat and the wings… great shot.
Thanks. The birds along the California piers are pretty bold, or at least not shy, and everyone just seems to take them in stride. This was one of those “waiting…waiting…waiting…CLICK!” photos.
