Last Wednesday, July 4th, was Independence Day in the U.S., an annual holiday, and our small town every year hosts a very DIY, very low budget parade. No big-league sponsors funding flower-bedecked award-winning superfloats around here: Nope, what we have is that exuberant goofiness that can only be found in a small town block party.
Since I’m awaiting development of my snaps from this year’s parade, I’ll (hopefully) keep you entertained with these from 2009.
(These are all scanned from the prints, hence the graininess.)
